The Madhya Pradesh (MP) Police conducts examinations for the posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) and Head Constable with a specialization in computers. These positions require a combination of general knowledge and computer proficiency. The selection of candidates will be done by the following steps-

1- Preliminary Examination.

2- Technical Examination.

3- Practical Examination.

4- Physical Efficiency Test.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have completed higher secondary education (10+2) from a recognized board. Must possess CPCT certification and a degree in Computer Science, IT, BCA, MCA, or a recognized polytechnic diploma.

Age Limit:

For male Candidate: 18-33 years.

For Female and others: 18-38 Years.

A. Educational Qualification:

ASI (Computer): Degree or Diploma in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline from a recognized university/institute.

Head Constable (Computer): Passed 12th Standard (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) PLUS a 1-year Computer Diploma/Course (e.g., DCA/PGDCA or equivalent) from a recognized institute.

B. Age Limit (As of February 19, 2026):

Minimum Age: 18 years

Maximum Age: 33 years (Unreserved / Open category)

Age relaxations apply for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/Female/Ex-Servicemen) as per MP Government rules.
