Women Recipients
Chitra Mudgal (2003) was the first woman to receive the Vyas Samman. Since then, a total of nine women have won the award, including Mridula Garg (2004), Chandrakanta (2005), Mannu Bhandari (2008), Sunita Jain (2015), Mamta Kalia (2017), Nasira Sharma (2019), Pushpa Bharati (2023), and Suryabala (2024).
Notable Observations
- 2007 is the only year in which no award was given.
